This week’s word of edification is anchored in the foundational call of Christ Jesus for the family of God and the children of this world to believe yet again in the manifested presence and power of God within us.
So many of us who know ourselves to be children of God and believers in God and Christ are continuing to struggle in our lives and our faith journey because our true belief in the manifested presence of God within us is questioned by us.
We say the words. We make the confessions. We participate in faith based and religious activities, but in our heart our faith and belief in God is questioned.
We question why we have experienced trauma and life struggles. We question why the blessings of God appear to manifest for others and not us. We question why we do not experience the miracle working power of God in our lives.
Today’s word is a reminder that the answer to our question is the question itself.
As children of God, our faith in God and relationship with God as the benevolent father is based on our faith and belief that God is.
John 4:24
God is a spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
We must re-anchor ourselves in the core belief that God is the spirit of truth present within us and around us to speak truth to us and through us as we navigate a world of confusion and false existence.
And as we re-anchor ourselves in our faith in God; we must then step forward and re-establish or relationship with Christ as God’s pathway out of the confusion and condemnation of this world structured by the laws of fear, shame, and unbelief.
John 3:16 -17
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God, sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
We must again believe that God as the benevolent creator, sent forth his most trusted, his most beloved to extend an invitation and direct us to the way back into a world of the creator’s origin vision.
For after having extended the invitation through Abraham and every prophet and carrier of the Gospel that followed, and the children of God still not believe, what better messenger to extend the final invitation than his own son, coming forth in his very likeness.
Galatians 3:13-14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree.
That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Brothers and sisters, it is time to believe yet again. To believe with a whole heart that the spirit of God is calling us forth out of the pre-existing conditions of this world and is present to honor his word and the covenant that all who believe shall receive the promise.
Words and flesh deeds alone will not re-establish the relationship God is calling his children and believers back into. We must step beyond the presentation of faith into the manifestation of faith through our belief in God in Christ.
As scripture tells us, we must lay down the questioning and unbelieving mind of this world and believe as children believe to cultivate the depths of faith required to see the manifestation of the promises of God in our lives.
Matthew 18:3-4
And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greater in the kingdom of heaven.
As the world clamors for the manifestations of superhero’s to save the world from the self-created horror that continues to occur; we must step into the knowing of Christ as that hero that has already come.
Because when we step forward firm in our faith and belief in salvation, made possible through Jesus Christ, we put on the armor of the Spirit of God made alive through us and become the superhero’s God has sent to shine light into darkness, because greater is he that is in us than anything else in and of this world.
1 John 4:4
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Challenge yourself to step out of unbelief and allow God to manifest his love in you and through you to transform your life and the world around you.
